The Dandelion Project

Cardboard Academy is an asynchronous and interactive online video series presented by the Dandelion Project, a self-directed education platform and school based in Philadelphia. In this four-lesson series, Sarah Folger encourages participants to design worlds out of the recycling bin! The materials to create are all around us all the time, and this course is designed to be a sustainable and transdisciplinary approach to access many different types of learners. Cardboard Academy flexes problem-solving muscles as it encourages participants to use new tools and practice building techniques using cardboard as the main material. The philosophy of Cardboard Academy is don’t just think outside the box, take the box apart and build something new.
